Alertas e informações operacionais

Code 1

Maximum Chamber Temperature Exceeded

The temperature inside the sterilization chamber has risen above the set limit.

This may be caused by a malfunctioning temperature sensor or an issue with the mainboard that processes data from the sensor.

Please contact Enbio Service by clicking the button below to fill out the service form.

Code 2

Steam Generator Overtemperature

The temperature in the steam generator has exceeded the operational limit.

This may be due to placing too many instruments inside the chamber — exceeding the recommended load can lead to overheating.

Another possible cause is a malfunction in the steam generator or incorrect interpretation of sensor data by the mainboard. In most cases, this is caused by using improper water.

Ensure that the sterilized load does not exceed the recommended weight: max. 0.5 kg (S, Beauty) or 0.8 kg (PRO). Repeat the cycle with a lighter load.

Code 3

Process Overtemperature

The temperature during the sterilization process has exceeded the allowed limit.
This error may occur if the sterilization cycle is run without a tray in the chamber.
It may also be caused by a malfunctioning electromagnetic valve, a faulty chamber temperature sensor, or a mainboard error.

Please contact Enbio Service by clicking the button below to fill out the service form.

Code 4

Overpressure Detected

The pressure inside the sterilization chamber has risen above the set operational limit.

This issue may result from:

  • A malfunctioning pressure sensor, or
  • A limescale-blocked steam generator, which prevents proper pressure regulation, likely due to poor water quality.

Please contact Enbio Service by clicking the button below to fill out the service form.

Code 5

Sterilization Pressure Too Low

The pressure during the sterilization process is too low.

The most common cause is that the blue water supply hose is not fully submerged in water.

This can happen if:

  • The hose is incorrectly positioned inside the water container
  • The container is empty
  • The hose is damaged

If this is not the issue, the problem may be due to :

  • A clogged or worn-out Magic Filter
  • A worn-out water pump
  • An internal leak in the autoclave.

Make sure the blue hose is fully submerged in water inside the supply container (remember to use the proper water).

Code 6

Sterilization Temperature Too Low

The temperature during the sterilization process did not reach the required level.

This issue may have several causes:

  • A faulty temperature sensor misreading the chamber temperature
  • A leak in the system preventing temperature buildup
  • Limescale in the steam generator, reducing its efficiency
  • A worn-out water pump that fails to supply water properly
  • Or a malfunctioning mainboard that misinterprets sensor data
  • Using distilled water mixed with alcohol or scented additives, which can negatively affect the sterilization process and trigger this code.
  • It’s also possible that poor hose positioning or low water level is interfering with proper operation.
  • Ensure that the blue hose is fully submerged in proper water
  • Make sure the red hose is not positioned vertically throughout its length, which can create an air trap

Code 7

Drying Pressure Too High

The pressure inside the chamber is too high during the drying phase.

This issue can occur when:

  • The red drain hose is immersed in water, preventing proper drainage.
  • The hose is kinked, twisted, or improperly routed, which blocks the free flow of condensate.
  • The load is too heavy, interfering with proper pressure regulation during drying.
  • Make sure the red drain hose is not submerged in water.
  • Ensure the hose is laid out freely and without bends – gravity should allow water to drain easily.
  • Check that the weight of sterilized instruments does not exceed the recommended limits: max. 0.5 kg (S, Beauty) or 0.8 kg (PRO).

Code 8

Too Many Steam Pulses OR No Water Supply

The sterilizer attempted to inject steam too many times without success — likely due to a lack of water supply.

The most common causes include:

  • The blue feed water hose is not properly connected to the “water in” port.
  • The “Water In” connector is loose or damaged, which may prevent proper water intake.
    • The water tank is empty.
    • The load is too heavy, making it difficult to generate the required amount of steam.
    • Internal issues such as limescale buildup in the solenoid valves or steam generator.
    • A worn-out water pump that no longer provides sufficient water pressure.
  • Cut a small section of the hose (the end that was inside), and reinsert the hose into the connector.
  • Check that the water tank is filled.
  • Make sure the load does not exceed the maximum: 0.5 kg (S, Beauty) or 0.8 kg (PRO).

Code 9

Drainage Fault

he system has detected a blockage in the wastewater drainage circuit.

Blockages can be caused by:

  • Clogged hoses or drainage channels
  • Debris inside the chamber outlet – often from sterilization pouches (dust, paper particles)
  • A sterilization pouch falling out of the tray and becoming lodged at the back of the chamber, blocking the drain outlet.
  • A full wastewater bottle (red cap)
  • The red drain hose being kinked or improperly routed

Over time, particles from sterilization packaging can accumulate and cause obstruction in the internal hydraulic system. Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential to prevent this.

  • Check the used water level.
  • Check if any sterilization pouch has fallen out of the tray.
  • Verify the hose connections and wastewater flow.

Code 10

Chamber Heating Issue

The autoclave was unable to reach the required temperature on the chamber walls.

Several components may be responsible for this issue, including:

  • Defective heating elements
  • A faulty power relay on the control board
  • Issues with the power supply module
  • Damaged wiring harnesses
  • A malfunctioning mainboard
  • Improper electrical connection or insufficient power supply – One frequent cause is connecting the autoclave to a power strip (multi-socket) that also supplies other devices. This can lead to voltage drops and unstable operation.
  • Ensure the autoclave is connected directly to a dedicated power outlet.
  • Check that the mains voltage is stable.

Code 11

Steam Generator Heating Issue

The steam generator failed to reach the required operating temperature.

This issue most commonly points to a failure in the steam generator’s heating elements. Other possible causes include:

  • Damaged heating elements (check resistance according to Enbio guidelines)
  • A faulty power supply relay or damaged wiring between the power supply and the generator
  • A failure in the power board (e.g., faulty relay)
  • A malfunctioning mainboard
  • Try restarting the cycle.
  • Ensure the autoclave is connected directly to a dedicated power outlet.

Code 12

Prevacuum / Depressurizing OR Drainage Fault

Vacuum time exceeded – The device is having trouble generating vacuum at the right level in the required time.

Possible causes include:

  • Worn or contaminated chamber door gasket
  • A blocked or kinked red drain hose
  • A full wastewater container (red cap)
    • A vacuum pump malfunction
  • Problems with the safety valve, solenoid valves, or heat exchanger
  • More severe failures involving the steam generator, sterilization chamber, or mainboard
  • Check and empty the used water from the bottle with the red cap.
  • Ensure the red drain hose is not submerged, kinked, or pointing upward at any point — it must run downward along its entire length
  • Clean the chamber door gasket to ensure proper sealing.
  • Verify the autoclave has sufficient airflow around it for cooling.

Code 13

Power Supply Interruption

A momentary power failure or short circuit occurred during device operation — most often at the beginning of the sterilization cycle.

The issue may be caused by:

  • A short circuit in the autoclave or power outlet
  • Faulty electrical wiring in the installation site
  • Internal faults in components such as the valve wiring harness or heating elements
  • Restart the device.
  • Ensure the autoclave is plugged directly into a working outlet
  • Try connecting it to a different socket.
  • Consult a qualified electrician to verify the electrical installation on-site.

Code 14

Residual Pressure Detected in Standby Mode

Pressure was detected in the chamber while the autoclave was idle. This often occurs when a hot chamber remains sealed, causing a vacuum or overpressure that leads to incorrect sensor readings.

  • Open the chamber door to release excess pressure or vacuum.
  • Restart the device after pressure is equalized.

Code 15

Door Locking Mechanism Fault

The system detected a malfunction in the door locking mechanism.
This issue may be caused by internal parts faults.

Code 16

Door Unlocking Mechanism Fault

The system was unable to unlock the chamber door after the cycle.

The unlocking issue may be caused by:

  • Residual pressure remaining in the chamber
  • A fault in the door release mechanism
  • Problems with the actuator, sensor, or mainboard
  • Turn off the autoclave and turn it back on.
  • Start any cycle and stop it after a few seconds.
  • Wait for the message: “READY / Chamber is safe to open”.

Code 17

V3 Valve / HEPA Filter Fault

The autoclave detected an issue during the decompression phase — likely involving the V3 valve or the HEPA filter.

This fault may result from:

  • A clogged HEPA (bacteriological) filter, restricting airflow
  • A blocked or faulty V3 solenoid valve responsible for decompression
  • In rare cases, a mainboard malfunction causing incorrect sensor interpretation.

Remember! Replace the HEPA filter every 1000 cycles or every 12 months.

Replace the HEPA filter.

Code 18

Pressure Sensor Fault

The autoclave detected a malfunction in the pressure sensor.
This sensor is integrated with the mainboard, which means the entire mainboard must be replaced in case of failure.

This issue cannot be resolved by the user. Please contact Enbio Service by clicking the button below to fill out the service form.

Code 19

USB Storage Fault

The device does not detect any USB memory stick.. This typically indicates a failure of the USB medium.

This may result from:

  • A damaged or incompatible USB drive
  • A malfunction in the USB port, internal cable, or control board
  • A mainboard malfunction affecting data transfer
  • Turn off the device
  • Remove the USB stick and reconnect it securely
  • Turn the device back on and check again
  • Try using a different, known-working USB drive (preferably FAT32 formatted).
