WARRANTY TERMS

1. The company Enbio Group AG, Eichengasse 3, 4702 Oensingen, Switzerland, registered
under the number CHE-490.037.640, hereinafter referred to as the Guarantor grants the
guarantee for failure-free operation of the device, when used in accordance with the
recommendations contained in the User's Manual and under the conditions set out below.
2. The guarantee obligations are fulfilled by the Guarantor or Enbio Corp.
3. The guarantee period is respectively 24 months for US and Canada market as follows:
3.1. Year one: 12 months or 2000 cycles whichever comes first – after a call with ENBIO
technical support and troubleshooting, exchange for new unit, the bonding date of
warranty is still the original invoice date,
3.2. Year two: 12 months or 2000 cycles, whichever comes first - after a call with ENBIO
technical support and troubleshooting, exchange for a refurbished unit or service repair,
the bonding date of warranty is still the original invoice date.
The date of sale shall be the date of purchase specified on the invoice provided by the
Guarantor or by the authorized distributor. Under this guarantee, the Guarantor is not
responsible for devices purchased by end users from unauthorized distributors
4. Equipment, elements and/or additional items provided by the Guarantor, not constituting an integral part of the device, are subject to the guarantee of the manufacturer of the equipment, elements, or items, if such a guarantee has been granted by their manufacturer.
5. The Guarantor provides guarantee for defects caused by the manufacturer's fault in the
structure, defects in materials and parts used, errors in workmanship and factory
assembly, as well as for the costs of repair, delivery and replacement of the parts,
importing the parts or components from a sub-supplier.
6. The manner of performing the warranty (replacement, repair) is at the Guarantor's
sole discretion.
7. Repairs carried out by Enbio or Enbio Authorized Service are covered by a 6-month
warranty period for replaced components, calculated from the date of issue of the device
or the original warranty - whichever is longer.
8. The replaced parts of the device reported under the guarantee shall become the property of the Guarantor.
9. The decision of the Guarantor's employee regarding the causes and the party responsible of the damage is binding for the User.
10. The User has the right to present a different assessment by a qualified appraiser within
14 days.
11. After the end of the guarantee period, the Guarantor's liability provided for in this
document expires.
12. Under no circumstances shall the Guarantor be liable for the damage and incorrect
operation of the device resulting from:
12.1. operating error, incorrect maintenance or operation inconsistent with the
guidelines contained in the User's Manual,
12.2. improper operation shall mean the use of water in the device with parameters
inconsistent with the guidelines contained in the User's Manual,
12.3. making modifications, alterations, repairs or replacement of parts on their own
without the Guarantor's consent granted at least in a documented form.
13. If the Guarantor discovers:
13.1. using water with parameters inconsistent with the guidelines contained in the
User’s Manual (see item 3.1),
13.2. removing or damaging the guarantee sticker on the casing of the device, the
Guarantor may refuse to provide warranty services based on this guarantee
statement.
14. The guarantee does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear during their use
and/or consumables.
15. The guarantee does not cover losses caused by the device being out of order during the period of waiting for the guarantee repair or damage to property, i.e. direct and indirect losses.
16. The document entitling to the performance of the guaranty service is the sales document, indicated in item 3 of this guarantee.
17. The current list of authorized Enbio services is available on the website www.enbio.com, in the SUPPORT tab.
18. A change of contact details indicated above is updated on the Guarantor's website:
www.enbio.com.
19. Any costs resulting from an unjustified complaint shall be borne by the reporting party. The Guarantor has the right to refuse to perform the guarantee or service if the buyer refrains from settling the payment for the purchase of the device or other services provided by the Guarantor to the reporting party.
20. To ensure proper operation of the device, the user is required to perform paid service and maintenance activities according to the service intervals defined by the number of
operating cycles:
a) every 1,500 cycles – replacement of the chamber seal. This activity may be performed on-site by the user’s office staff, provided that the complete door kit is ordered: Part No.
14672SHS – Drawer Front Enbio S ASM Silver – Seal Kit.
b) every 3,000 cycles – a service inspection performed exclusively by a certified service
technician. Failure to perform the required service activities during the warranty period will result in the loss of the warranty for the device.

22. What you will need before contacting Enbio Corp:
a) Serial numer (starting with ST...).
b) Current cycle count.
c) Original purchase invoice with serial numer on it.
d) If applicable, Preventative Maintenance invoice.
23. In matters not covered by the provisions concerning the guarantee, the provisions of the Polish Civil Code shall apply.
