New Features in Enbio: User ID, Auto-test and Standby Mode

As a manufacturer of advanced medical autoclaves, we are constantly striving to improve our products to meet the growing demands of the medical and dental industries. The introduction of new features in the Enbio S and Enbio PRO models is another step in this direction. In this article, we will discuss three key new features in detail: user identification, auto-test and standby mode.

User identification – a kind of signature regarding the sterilization process

One of the new features of Enbio sterilizers is user identification functionality. To activate this feature, the user must assign a unique PIN code that will be used to log in before and after the sterilization process (signature). The setup process is simple and includes the following steps:

  1. Activate Access Control Function: Go to the sterilizer settings, select the option to activate the access control function and assign a unique PIN code.
  2. Adding New Users: You can add new users by entering their data and assigning them individual PIN codes. The sterilizer allows you to manage multiple users, which increases security and control of the device.

Benefits of using User ID

User identification ensures that only authorized people have access to the sterilizer. This feature is particularly important in larger medical facilities where many people use the equipment. With user identification, it is possible to monitor who has used the sterilizer and when, which is important for maintaining a high level of hygiene and safety.

Auto-test – automatic execution of tests

The Auto-test function allows the vacuum test (Vacuum Test) and the Helix/B&D test to be performed at a designated time. The tests can be performed one after the other or only one test can be set to be performed. The process of setting up test automation is intuitive and consists of three simple steps:

  1. Test selection: The user selects the type of test: Vacuum and/or Helix, B&D.
  2. Set time: enter the time. The set time is the time when the tests are completed.

NOTE: leave the autoclave on so that the tests can be performed. The device will automatically go into standby mode.

Benefits of using test automation

Automatic testing significantly improves daily operations by eliminating the need to run tests manually. With this feature, users can rest assured that the sterilizer is always ready for use and meets all safety standards. Auto-tests are particularly useful in busy offices where saving time is crucial.

Standby mode, an ecological and economical solution in Enbio autoclaves

Enbio sterilizers are equipped with a standby mode that minimizes energy consumption. The device in standby mode consumes only 3.5W, which is an extremely favorable result from the point of view of economy and ecology.

Standby mode features:

  1. Energy saving: In standby mode, the unit turns off the fans when the temperature of the unit drops below 80 degrees Celsius, so it maintains only minimal power consumption. The display automatically dims after a minute of non-use to further reduce power consumption.
  2. Automatic Switching to Standby Mode: After completing a sterilization cycle or setting an auto-test, the sterilizer automatically switches to standby mode. The user does not need to manually activate this mode, which increases user convenience.

Benefits of Stanby Mode:

The standby mode allows a significant reduction in the cost of operating the device. Lower energy consumption translates into lower electricity bills and longer life of sterilizer components. This feature is especially useful in offices and facilities where devices are often left on for long periods of time. Standby mode is also necessary when test automation is used and the device must be left on all night so that tests can be performed before starting work.

Standby mode Enbio

New functionalities introduced in Enbio S and Enbio PRO sterilizers, such as user identification, auto-test and standby mode (Stanby mode), significantly increase the comfort and safety of using these devices. With these innovations, Enbio strengthens its leadership position in medical sterilization, offering solutions that are both efficient and environmentally friendly.
